Dear Friend of Humanity First,
The 17th Annual Humanity First Golf Tournament will be held on June 19th, 2019 at The Club at Bond Head in Bond Head, Ontario.
We are expecting another sell-out tournament with more than 100 golfers and a large number of corporate sponsors and distinguished guests.
This year, the proceeds from the tournament will go towards two very important initiatives of Humanity First as follows:
- Humanity First Feed a Family Food Bank:
- Our food bank is located in the Vaughan and operates 7 days a week to provide immediate assistance to those in need across the GTA.
- Recipients of this program are often new immigrant/refugee families depending on social services.
- For those who are physically challenged or have no means of transport, we deliver monthly food hampers to their doorstep for free.
- Over 1300 families are registered with the Humanity First Food Bank, receiving food, clothing and school supplies.
- Humanity First Shelter Bus for Homeless:
- Our Shelter bus provides warm overnight sleeping arrangements and hot meals to homeless people on the streets.
- This bus drives around to provide relief from cold and inclement weather by providing temporary overnight accommodation in a coach bus that has been retrofitted with beds and dinner lounges.
